About the Chamber
A voluntary, member-driven organization working for a strong Beaumont business community.
We exist to help Beaumont businesses start, grow and thrive.
The Beaumont Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. We bring together owners, operators and organizations from every sector, and speak with one voice on the issues that matter to local business.
Our history
Beaumont began as a small francophone farming community south of Edmonton. Local merchants formed the Chamber nearly four decades ago to share ideas, promote shopping close to home and make sure the town's growing business community was heard. Today the city is one of the fastest growing in the region, and the Chamber has grown with it.
Our members range from family farms and trades to professional practices, restaurants, retailers and not-for-profits. What they share is a commitment to Beaumont.
What the Chamber does
Connects
Monthly networking, luncheons and the annual Business Excellence Gala bring members together.
Promotes
A public member directory, a news channel and a highway signage program put member businesses in front of customers.
Advocates
We bring members' concerns to the City, the region and the Province, and share clear updates on decisions that affect business.
Supports
Workshops, resources and member benefits help owners save money and build skills.
Our values
Community first
Strong businesses make a strong Beaumont, and the reverse is also true.
Inclusive
We welcome every business, in English and in French.
Practical
We focus on programs members can use this month, not just this decade.
Accountable
Members elect the Board, and the Board reports openly.
